More than 70 Drexel authors and editors were recognized for contributions to scholarship through their 2013 book publications at Celebrating Drexel Authors on Tuesday, March 11, 2014. The second-annual event gathered authors from multiple disciplines, schools and colleges to recognize the diverse research and creative expressions completed at Drexel.

This years’ event, held in the Paul Peck Alumni Center, welcomed upwards of 130 guests including members of the University Community, family and friends of the authors, President John A. Fry, Provost Mark Greenberg and Dean Danuta A.Nitecki. In total the event recognized 49 authors and 25 editors. Authors represented 12 of Drexel’s schools and colleges – as well as the Academy, Drexel Online, Drexel Sacramento – and for the first time, 2 professional staff.
