Drexel University Libraries is pleased to announce changes in electronic resource offerings in psychology. Effective July 1, 2013 access to the core resources in psychology published by the American Psychological Association, PsycINFO, PsycARTICLES, PsycBOOKS and PsycCRITIQUES will move from the existing Ovid platform to EBSCOhost. In addition, the Libraries will be adding APA’s newest resource, PsycTESTS to our electronic collections.

Research and resources in psychology play a growing role in nearly every academic discipline studied and researched at Drexel. In recognition of the importance of psychology across the University, the Libraries this past spring evaluated current offerings in psychology both for content and delivery, testing offerings from a number of different vendors. Resources from the American Psychological Association are unmatched in scope and quality, and with this change in access to the EBSCOhost platform we seek to make them more accessible to the University community.

Access to the Psyc suite of databases is now available on EbscoHost, click here.

The Libraries’ group of Liaison Librarians are available to answer your questions about these changes and to assist with orientation to the new electronic environment, including assistance with alerting services.
