The Drexel University Libraries Reserves Team is pleased to announce the launch of a improved streaming video service, scheduled to go into full effect in the 2014-15 Fall Quarter. With the launch of the new service, all streaming media content in the course reserves system will be hosted by Kaltura, the video platform newly adopted by Drexel¹s Online Learning Team. Here are some of the features the new platform will feature: ·

  • Streamlined access to content with the removal of video specific passwords
  • Quick activation of videos when copying items between course shells in BlackBoard Learn
  • Clean, customizable player, seen here:

Streaming media for reserves will continue to be accessed by students and faculty via BlackBoard Learn. Please feel free to contact the Libraries Reserves team if you have any questions.
