Katz Elsevier’s ClinicalKey, a new health sciences resource licensed by the Libraries, provides the Drexel community a more robust, yet simple, searching interface and access to thousands of information resources, detailed below. ClinicalKey is a comprehensive, trusted, and speedy source for clinical information, enabling faculty, residents, and students to locate topic overviews as well as in-depth information in order to meet every day and unusual clinical challenges. ClinicalKey replaces the electronic content that was formerly offered through MDConsult. ClinicalKey includes:
  • ALL Elsevier medical and surgical books (over 800)
  • ALL Elsevier medical and surgical journals (over 500)
  • ALL Medical and Surgical Clinics of North America
  • ALL Elsevier First Consult Point-of Care clinical monographs
  • ALL Elsevier Procedures Consult content and associated videos
  • ALL Elsevier medical and surgical videos (over 9,000)
  • ALL Clinical Pharmacology drug monographs
  • Practice guidelines
  • Patient education handouts
  • Clinical trials information
  • ALL Elsevier-associated and supplemental images and videos
  • Expert commentary
  • MEDLINE abstracts
  • Select third-party journals
  • Authenticated links to Drexel University Libraries licensed journals
Look for announcements about demonstrations of and orientations to ClinicalKey to be provided by Elsevier on the Hahnemann and Queen Lane campuses in mid-January 2013. Elsevier will also be presenting some exciting giveaways to participants!
