Faculty from Morocco on State Department Tour visit Libraries

December 2, 2011

Faculty members and the dean of Morocco's School of Information Science (ESI) visited Drexel University Libraries on Thursday, December 1, 2011, as a part of their tour of Philadelphia, sponsored by the Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program. The group toured W. W. Hagerty Library and the Legal Research Center and met with the director of library academic partnerships, Beth Ten Have, and iSchool and education liaison librarian, Tim Siftar. The stop at Drexel University is a part of the visitors' ten day tour of library-related sites in the eastern United States. Guests also met with David Fenski, dean of the iSchool, and Eileen Abels, associate dean, as a part of their effort to compare the ESI curriculum with those at American universities.
