Hands-on archival processing workshop to be held on Friday February 18

February 3, 2011

Are you ready to go beyond reading books and articles about archives? Eager to get your hands dirty with the dust of history? Want to see how Archivists' Toolkit works? Join the Drexel University Archives andDrexel College of Medicine Archives for a hands-on archives processing workshop at Hagerty Library on Friday, February 18, 2011, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Experienced archivists will teach you the basics of archival processing and then we'll work together to arrange and describe a previously unprocessed collection. Lunch will be provided. Anyone with an interest in archives is invited; no prior experience is required. The workshop costs for the general public, for the Drexel community; this registration fee is payable at the door and includes morning snacks and a pizza lunch.

Please RSVP to http://archives.library.drexel.edu/contact (under Category, please choose Workshop Registration) by Friday, February 11, 2011.

We hope to see you there!
