Charging Device ImageHagerty and Hahnemann Libraries and the Library Learning Terrace are now equipped with personal device charging stations for when your tablet or phone needs a battery boost. These new stations can charge up to six devices at a time and are conveniently located in high traffic areas.

Drexel students identified the idea behind this initiative and submitted it to an annual process of selecting small projects around campus to be implemented with funds that have rolled over from the student activity fee. It was vetted through the USGA President, the Student Activity Fee Allocation Committee and the Dave Ruth, Dean of Students. Students specifically requested locations in the Libraries as buildings to place these devices. The Libraries welcomed the selection and worked with Student Life staff to install the equipment. Some of these stations have also been installed in Creese Student Center and Ross Commons.

Thanks to our students for their successful idea to improve library learning environments and the student experience at Drexel!

Please remember that your device is your responsibility - you should stay near your device while it charges.
