Libraries Consult on Project to Provide Access to 40 Years of WHYY's Fresh Air with Terry Gross
The Council on Library and Information Resources [CLIR] recently awarded WHYY a grant of more than $250,000 over two years to support the creating open and free access to its collection of the Peabody Award-winning national radio program, Fresh Air with Terry Gross. WHYY has 38 years of programming which will become available through this grant.
The Drexel University Libraries and The Legacy Center will consult on the project that will generate a cataloging system and rich metadata base that follows international library standards.
