Approximately 75% of the library (second and third floors) goes dark at 11:54 p.m. It would be great if you could keep the light on until the library is officially closed at 2:00 a.m. It does not seem to me that there is discernible cost saving to be had from the action. In fact, the long-run cost could be higher if you take potential liability into consideration. Thanks for your comment. We’re aware that this happens and that it’s a problem. The lights seem to be on some kind of timer, and we’re working with facilities to try and resolve the problem. We hope to have it resolved soon so that those studying on the second and third floors can take advantage of all of Hagerty’s hours of operation.
