New Collaboration Tool Available in Libraries’ W. W. Hagerty Library
A new piece of collaborative technology was added to the Libraries’ Mary Hagerty Learning Lab [room L33] in late June. The SMART kapp dry-erase board pairs with an app that allows users to save and share content in real time.
The SMART kapp board is a stain free writing surface compatible with any dry-erase marker. Users should connect at least one mobile device to the kapp board. Once connected, the boards content will appear on up to devices – updating in real time.
Users can save content as jpeg or PDF files and store them on file sharing sites such as Evernote™, Google Drive™, Dropbox™ for easy distribution
The Mary Hagerty Learning Lab is a collaborative space on the Lower Level of W. W. Hagerty Library that is available for instructional activities and meetings.
