A New Student Space Coming to W. W. Hagerty Library in June 2015
In early June, the Libraries will unveil an exciting change to the second floor of W. W. Hagerty Library. Renovations are currently underway to transform what was once a walled-in staff space to a bright and open student space providing additional seating and quiet environment for learning.
The new space will bring more natural light into the building by replacing existing walls with glass panels that will help with blocking sound while allowing a view of Market Street to individuals on the second floor.
Beginning in early April, staff began packing up offices and relocating to prepare for a renovation, which is scheduled to be completed just in time for finals week.
