Updates to E-Journal Portal

September 19, 2016

Welcome back! You might notice some exciting enhancements to the eJournal Portal this quarter. The eJournal search still provides all the same browsing and searching options for eJournal titles, but now offers more information about each title.

Exciting new enhancements include:

  • A 'Journal Details' pull-down option showing more information about the publication
  • A 'Look Up Article' option beneath the Journal title for finding a specific article within the journal
  • Icons describing if the journal is Peer-reviewed and/or Open Access
  • Images of journal covers next to the journal (when available)
  • A 'search inside this journal' option for each eJournal listed allows for keyword searching within the journal title directly from the eJournal portal.
  • Better accessibility for people using screen readers

Additionally, you will notice an option at the top of the page to search for 'Books only' - this will search for eBooks that are made available to Drexel patrons through Drexel University Libraries.

Happy browsing and searching!
