PALCI Recognizes Drexel Libraries for Fastest E-Z Borrow Turnaround in the Consortium
Drexel University Libraries was recognized for having the fastest turnaround time in the PALCI network for filling E-Z Borrow requests. The announcement was shared at the recent PALCI [Pennsylvania Academic Libraries Consortium, Inc.] membership meeting in early June at Penn State University. The dean of libraries, Danuta A. Nitecki and head of Interlibrary Loan services, Lynda Sadusky, were both in attendance.
This fast service turnaround is the work of the Libraries PRAM department led by Kenneth Fisher with a team of Cindy Humphries, Rebecca Roth, and Ellen Wolk. PRAM stands for Print Resource Access Management and is the team that manages the fulfillment of requests and shipping/delivery of physical materials, among other functions including digitizing journal articles and book chapters, and maintaining a high-quality self-service stacks environment for our library users.
