I come to the library to study alone and in a quiet place. However, I am very dissatisfied because some areas are supposed to be silent. I come for the silence, not to hear people slamming their keys while typing on their laptop or continuously clicking on their mouse.

We did:

For folks who don’t happen to have noise-canceling headphones or other devices to help block unavoidable environmental noise, we can help. At each of our staffed Library Assistance desks, library users can stop by to pick up disposable ear plugs to help block distracting noises.
