Visitor Information

Welcome to the Drexel University Libraries!

For Students, Faculty, and Staff Associated with Drexel University

Drexel faculty, staff, and students need to scan their DragonCard to enter the W. W. Hagerty Library and the Library Learning Terrace. It is important to carry your DragonCard because you will need to show it when you borrow books, use course reserve materials, or borrow laptops and portable power chargers.

Please be sure to check our hours page for any holiday or term break closures or adjustments to our opening/closing times.

For All Other Visitors

The Drexel Libraries welcomes visitors to the W. W. Hagerty Library on our main campus in University City.

The W. W. Hagerty Library is open to members of the public from 7:30am and 5pm Monday through Friday. Please note that current Drexel University students, faculty, and staff have priority access to all library resources and learning environments. Access is restricted to current Drexel students, faculty, and staff on weekends and during exam periods and some holidays.

All visitors must present a valid ID at the security desk upon entering the building.

Visit our Services page for additional information about access and services for visitors.
