Printing, Scanning & Computing

The Drexel Libraries provides access to desktop and laptop computers for use within library locations as well as portable power chargers, printers, scanners, copiers, headphones, projectors, video adapters, computer mice, USB thumb drives and Ethernet cords. Equipment is provided to enable access to electronic resources for members of the Drexel community.

W. W. Hagerty Library

Desktop computers are available for use in classroom L14 (lower level). The classroom is available for general use when it is not in use for teaching. Clients have the option to reserve a seat at a desktop computer workstation via the LibCal Seats reservation system.

All computers provide full Internet access, as well as Microsoft Office applications; many specialized software applications are also available in the computer labs/classrooms.

  • Laptops: Laptops are available for checkout at the Circulation Desk (1st floor) and the 24/7 Laptop Kiosk in the Dragons' Learning for use within the building. See the Equipment For Loan webpage for more information.
  • Printing: All computers print to the library printers located on the first floor. Clients can use their DragonCard to pay at the printer or pay with a credit or debit card at the Service Desk. Mobile printing from personal devices is also available. Learn more about printing in the W. W. Hagerty Library.
  • Scanning: Scanning stations are available on the first floor. Scanning is free of charge and scanned documents may be saved to a USB flash drive or sent to any email address.

Desktop computers require log-in with a Drexel University email ID and password; alumni may show appropriate ID to request guest access.

Hahnemann Library

The Hahnemann Library provides printing and scanning services.
  • Printing: Mobile printing from personal devices is available in the first floor Hahnemann Library. Visit the Printing at the Libraries page for mobile printing instructions.
  • Scanning: A scanning station located in the first floor Hahnemann Library. Scanning is free of charge, and scanned documents may be saved to a USB flash drive or sent to any email address.

Queen Lane Library

The Queen Lane Library provides printing and scanning services.
