Borrowing

Print, audiovisual materials, and equipment are available for loan at the Libraries, including core course materials on Reserve. See Borrowing Privileges to learn more.

Students may request articles and books from other libraries by using ILLiad or EZ Borrow. Graduate students may also take advantage of direct borrowing privileges to borrow items from neighboring libraries.

Distance Learners

The Drexel University Libraries provides services to Drexel's online learning community equivalent to those available on the physical campuses.

To request print material within Drexel University Libraries' collection, use the Request Item option in the Library Catalog and select Distance Education Delivery as the pick up location. See more about Borrowing Privileges.

Print materials from Drexel University Libraries or through EZ Borrow or ILLiad,  will be mailed to your home address. You can renew books online through My Library Record or ILLiad. Return all books at least five days before the due date to the Drexel University Libraries.   If it is an Interlibrary Loan book, do NOT return it to the lending library. The cost of shipping and insurance for the return of all material is your responsibility.

Sacramento Students

The Drexel University Libraries provides services to Drexel's Sacramento community equivalent to those available on the Philadelphia campuses.

To request print material within Drexel University Libraries' collection, use the Request Item option in the Library Catalog and select Distance Education Delivery as the pick up location.  Once available, this material will be mailed to your home address. See more about Borrowing Privileges.

Sacramento Public Library is extending its services to Drexel's graduate students at Sacramento. SPL offers access to over 9 million books through the LINK+ service. Drexel students do need a Sacramento Public Library card in order to utilize LINK+, click here for the online application. SPL also offers an extensive print reference collection, quiet and group study space at the Sacramento Central Library which is located in downtown Sacramento.
