ScholarSip with Professor Banu Onaral Rescheduled for June 8, 2020

May 15, 2020

The Drexel Libraries is excited to announce the spring 2020 ScholarSip event will be held remotely on June 8 from 4 pm to 5 pm.

Professor Banu Onaral, PhD, who was originally scheduled to speak at the winter event in March, will now provide the spring term's "food for thought" session.

Professor Onaral will share insights gained from years of personal experience in building research and innovation bridges between academia and industry locally, regionally and globally. She will provide case studies that illustrate initiation, maintenance and growth of long-lasting and peer-to-peer ‘organic partnerships’ that are robust enough to navigate an ever-changing industrial, corporate, political and global landscape.

Registration is required for this event. For more information, contact Libraries Communications Manager Stacy Stanislaw at svs22@drexel.edu

About ScholarSip

Now in its ninth year, ScholarSip is an annual event series hosted by the Drexel University Libraries that seeks to nurture Drexel’s intellectual life and cross-campus community through informal gatherings where faculty and professional staff exchange ideas sparked by greater awareness of interdisciplinary research. Each event includes social time to build acquaintances and a short “food for thought” presentation from a member of the Drexel community. ScholarSip provides an opportunity for members of the Drexel community to gather for conversation – along with a toast to the end of the academic term.
