New EBSCOhost User Interface Coming in June 2025
May 16, 2025
On June 16, 2025, the Drexel Libraries will migrate to a new EBSCOhost user Interface (UI), featuring enhanced functionality and a modern look and feel. This means that popular EBSCO databases such as Business Source Complete and CINAHL will look different after June 16.
New features and upgrades include:
- Modern design: A clean, intuitive interface so you can find what you need even faster
- Enhanced search capabilities: Get more precise results with advanced search filtering options
- Personalized dashboards: Keep track of searches and saved articles, plus save articles to Google Drive or OneDrive
- Improved translation features
- Enhanced accessibility
If you already have an EBSCO account, you can continue to use the same login after the migration to the new UI. All links should update automatically, and you won’t have to change any bookmarked links. If you find a bookmark no longer works after the migration, please go to the Libraries’ A-Z Database list and follow the link you wish to bookmark.
How can I Prepare for the Migration?
Save your data! If you don’t already have an EBSCO account, create one and save your data, including searches and articles. When you log in to the new interface, your saved items will appear.
All other data, including search history, alerts, and projects, are expected to migrate to the new interface. However, we strongly encourage you to export these items from the current interface by June 13.
