Data Management Plans
Researchers are faced with increasingly complex requirements to submit competitive research data management plans. Research Data Management Support assists researchers with developing these DMPs through individual consultation and guidance in identifying digital data formats, quality standards and control plans, equipment and software to create content, metadata standards and structures, ways to facilitate widespread discovery and use of digital content, and digital workflow and asset management/preservation. Help is also offered in using the California Digital Library's online DMPTool, creating biosketches from Faculty Portfolios, and understanding specific requirements from funding agencies such as NSF, NIH, DOE, and NEH.
