Chris Badurek is Data Services specialist as well as Earth and Natural Sciences Liaison, partnering with faculty and students in the departments of Mathematics, Physics, and Biodiversity, Earth, and Environmental Sciences. He provides consultation on Drexel's Data Services initiatives including research data management, data management plans for grant proposals, use of geographic information systems (GIS\), and student and faculty uses of the Data Visualization Zone space. As Drexel's Designated Representative to ICPSR, he provides consultation on use of this data resource for research and and teaching activities on campus. Chris earned bachelor's degrees in Biology and Psychology at Cornell University followed by an MLS and PhD in Geographic Information Science at the University at Buffalo. His interests are in escience initiatives, GIS and imagery data, science communication, STEM training, and improving science data literacy.
