Haemin Kim helps the Libraries explore how to analyze data related to current acquisitions and use of resources, alternative options for collections access, locations of print collections, and cost/speed of convenient access. The impact of these analyses are expected to help guide licensing and purchase decisions by selectors, as well as to improve user discovery and access. This work supports the Libraries' efforts to implement a data-driven culture and infrastructure.

Haemin is passionate about libraries and has an appetite for learning. She earned her MLS at Ewha Womans University in Seoul and her PhD here at Drexel's CCI, and served as System Librarian at the Samsung Economic Research Institute in Seoul. Hae Min's research experience and skills will enhance the Libraries' capacity to reach its strategic goal to utilize evidence of client expectations for excellence and other data to assist in management of the Libraries.
