Jen Lege Matsuura (she/her/hers) is a Health Sciences librarian at the Drexel University Libraries. She most recently completed a Sewell Fund Fellowship jointly working with the Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health's Center for Public Health Readiness and Communication and the City of Philadelphia Department of Public Health's Bioterrorism and Public Health Preparedness Program, which overlapped with the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prior to joining the Drexel Libraries, Jen worked as a medical librarian at ECRI in the fields of genetics and horizon scanning. Jen incorporates library research support into faculty teaching, using curriculum mapping, designing active learning lesson plans, and collaborating on online learning objects, as well as working with College of Nursing and Health Professions and Drexel University College of Medicine faculty and staff. She has published and presented on text mining in systematic reviews and creating a knowledge base of genetic tests. Jen holds a BA in Business Administration from Washington State University and a Masters in Library and Information Science from Simmons University, and the Academy of Health Information Professionals (AHIP) credential from the Medical Library Association.
