Matt Sherman is the Digital Curation Librarian at the Drexel University Libraries where he plays a lead role in acquiring, managing, preserving and providing access to the University’s digital collections, including both born-digital and digitized materials. He also provides support for the Libraries’ scholarly communications services.
Prior to coming to Drexel, Matt worked as the Scholarly Communications Librarian at Tennessee State University in Nashville, and as the Digital Content Librarian at the University of Bridgeport. During his schooling, he held various digital collections and archives positions at the Wisconsin State Historical Society Archives and the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee Archives. Matt holds an MLIS from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a BS in History from University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is an active member of the Code4Lib community, a group of people working with technology in and with libraries, archives, and museums, and has served on the conference committee since 2015.
